• Cost-Saving Strategies: No extra cost for blankets, plastic wrap, or tape.
• Residential & Commercial: From small apartments to large office relocations.

• Full-Service Packing: Efficient packing and careful handling of fragile items. (Boxes and materials for packing services are not included in the general moving costs)

 Our experienced team understands the intricacies involved in moving each type of piano. We use specialized equipment and techniques to ensure that your piano arrives at its destination in perfect condition.

 CapeWide believe in honest, upfront rates with no hidden surprises on moving day. Our pricing varies based on the crew size and the scope of your project.

• On-Site Moving & Labor: Perfect for rearranging furniture, loading/unloading your own PODS, or organizing storage units. Average: $90–$165/hour (Flat rates may be offered for certain jobs)
• Loading & Transport (Full Service): The "meat-and-potatoes" of what we do. We provide the truck, the team, and the tools. We load, transport, and unload everything exactly where you want it. Local Rates: $165–$240/hour + fuel charge based on mileage.
• What’s Included: Our hourly rates include all essential equipment: moving blankets, plastic wrap, and packing tape. We do not charge extra for the disassembly or reassembly of standard bed frames and sofas.
• Specialty Items: TV-specific moving boxes and mattress bags are available at market rate. (Note: We used to provide mattress bags, but since they jumped from $4 to $10 per bag, we now offer these at cost)

To Price your move as fairly and accurately as possible, here are some tips.

• List ALL Rooms: Be sure to list the number of rooms in the residence as well as any sheds and attics, garages and basements, outhouses and treehouses, hidden laboratories and cluttered driveways. We're happy to move it all, and anything you leave out will only add time to the job.
• Stairs are Time! As a general rule-of-thumb, consider each flight of stairs to add a half hour to the job. For example, a move between two two-story  homes typically adds one hour of labor . A few steps at the front door will not, but may be important to know about for tricky items
• Large and Heavy Items: You wouldn't believe some of the surprises we encounter. There is always a piano in the attic. If you have anything that might weigh more than 300 pounds, include it in your list. Some items that we like to know about ahead of time include: 

                         • Sleeper sofas (Yes, people still have these!)

                         • Mechanical and powered Furniture: Lazy-Boys, super-sofas, massage chairs

                         •  Appliances & Safes: Standard units to heavy industrial pieces.     

                         • Exercise Equipment: We don't mind taking these apart if needed, but we need to know ahead of time. Some units are heavier than they look and require special tools.

                         • "Funny-Named" Antiques: Large wooden pieces like Armoires, Credenzas, Chiffoniers, or Davenports that your grandparents left behind. 

                         •  Pianos & Pool Tables: These specialty items may require separate scheduling, though upright pianos can usually be moved easily during the job. 

Moving is the perfect time to reduce your footprint. Here are a few ways to make your transition more sustainable:

• Ditch the Cardboard: Ask us about our Reusable Totes. They are sturdier than boxes and produce zero waste.
• Use What You Have: Suitcases, gym bags, and even dresser drawers (for light items) are great for moving clothes and linens without using extra boxes.
• Eco-Friendly Padding: Instead of buying bubble wrap, use your towels, blankets, and thick socks to wrap fragile items like glassware or small "Whatnots."
• Declutter Before We Arrive: Don't pay to move things you no longer need! If you have furniture or electronics that have seen better days, let us know—we can often incorporate Recycling Services into your move.
